After a decade in the television industry, Victor Sanchez Aghahowa, the showrunner of Enakhe, has stated that he is working on his first feature film.
On Thursday, Aghahowa revealed the news in an Instagram post. “I have an announcement!” he wrote. After more than a decade and a half in the television industry. My first feature film has finally been completed. Anxiety attacks, Murphy’s Law, and loud applause are all on the menu. Lol.
“I’d like to express my gratitude to my dream cast and crew family for going above and above on our funny little film.”
While narrative details are presently unknown, the upcoming film will be written by the acclaimed filmmaker and co-produced by Femi Ogunsanwo and Banjo Ayodele Onyekachi, the producers of ‘Ojukokoro.’
After months of favorable reviews, Aghahowa’s ‘Enakhe’ has completed its first season. The gripping thriller, starring Ivie Okujaye as the title character, is set in modern-day Benin city and follows a rebellious girl who is pushed to grow in every manner possible following her father’s tragic death, to be the next leader of her family’s crime syndicate.
