Shuri and Okoye reunited on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Marvel Cinematic Universe filming is now taking place on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts and TMZ has acquired photos of Wright and Gurira on location. It was captured on film that the two were dressed up and stood in front of a black sports automobile.

Wright was hospitalized a day earlier after sustaining an injury on set, according to sources. For the Black Panther sequel, Wright “received minor injuries while filming a stunt,” but has already been released from the hospital, says a Marvel representative.

While it’s unclear how exactly the MIT campus will play a role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the film is presently filming on the MIT campus. According to a new source, however, Dominique Thorne, who will appear in a standalone Ironheart series on Disney+, will premiere as Riri Williams in Black Panther 2. In the comics, the character is a youthful genius who builds an Iron Man-style suit out of spare parts.

Thorne’s MCU debut was recently confirmed by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who said Thorne “started shooting, I believe, this week before her Ironheart series.”

July 8, 2022 will see the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theaters worldwide.
