Production on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania began in London, according to Paul Rudd.
On Instagram, Rudd promoted a celebrity basketball game for Kansas City Chiefs’ Tyreek “Cheetah” Hill. It was revealed that he couldn’t attend due to filming for Quantumania, however he did joke that he might not be able to be seen.
Rudd stated in the video, “I wish I could be there.” “I’m now filming Ant-Man 3 in London, UK. But who knows, I might show up. I may be small and difficult to see, but I will be there. For the life of me, I would not miss this opportunity. You should refrain from doing so as well.”
For the first time since Avengers: Endgame, various characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will return in Quantumania. Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michelle Pfeiffer will return, as will Kathryn Newton, who will play Cassie, Ant-daughter, Man’s and Jonathan Majors, who will play time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror.
Paul Rudd plays Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly plays Wasp, Michael Douglas plays Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer plays Janet Van Dyne and Jonathan Majors plays Kang the Conqueror in Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumia. The film will be released on February 17, 2023.
